Planning committee members

The Barry Township Planning Committee is currently comprised of five township resident members, each appointed to a three (3) year term by the Board of Supervisors. The Planning Committee is responsible for developing the Township Comprehensive Plan, which guides future Township development, and the Barry Township Zoning Ordinance and Shoreland Ordinance, which protect and enhance the public health, safety, and welfare of the Township and its residents. Both documents are subject to Township Board approval.

The Barry Township Planning Committee meets monthly at the Barry Township Hall.
