BARRY TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Barry Township Planning Committee will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Barry Town Hall, located at 35965 Wildlife Road Hinckley, MN to take public comments on Barry Township’s New Zoning Ordinance.
All persons desiring to be heard with reference to the above matter may do so at the public hearing. If you are unable to attend the meeting but wish to comment, you may submit a letter to the Barry Township Planning Committee at the above address, or you may send an email to barrytwpclerk@gmail.com no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 12, 2026. Any such communications will be forwarded to the Planning Committee.

The Barry Township Planning Committee will hold a Public Hearing to review and take comments on a request by New Look Construction, for an amendment to their Conditional Use Permit, to allow them to operate a temporary mobile asphalt plant at their gravel pit located at 26140 State Hwy 48, Hinckley MN. The Public hearing will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Barry Town Hall, located at 35965 Wildlife Road Hinckley, MN.

BARRY TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST
Pursuant to M.S. 206.83, notice is hereby given that on July 28 at 2:00 p.m. a public accuracy test will be conducted to ascertain that the voting system to be used by Barry Township for the Primary Election on August 11 will correctly count the votes cast for all candidates. This test will be held at Barry Town Hall located at 35965 Wildlife Road Hinckley MN, and will be open to representatives of political parties, candidates, the press, and the public.

Barry Township will hold its organizational meeting at 7:10 p.m., April 21, 2026, at the town hall rather than at the scheduled 6:30 p.m. time. It will be held in conjunction with the regular monthly meeting.

Supervisor Election Results
We congratulate Ed Hattenberger on winning the election for supervisor seat. This will be his second term.
Barry Township Election Notice
The Annual Town Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 3 pm at the Town Hall located at 35965 Wildlife Road in Hinckley, MN.
The election for the 3 yr term Supervisor Seat will take place immediately following the meeting until 8 pm.
