Greetings Barry Township Residents!

Are you aware that we have a new town hall located IN Barry Township???

See the new Town Hall (where you will vote!)
Look at the township’s road equipment
Greet your fellow residents
Enjoy your favorite sundae! Healthy fruit options will be available, too.

There will be an Open Hearing regarding the Barry Township new Comprehensive Plan on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 7 pm. The hearing will take place at the new Barry Town Hall, located at 35965 Wildlife Road. The Public is invited to attend.

Board of Appeal and Equalization

Barry Township will hold it’s annual Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting on April 15, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the Barry Town Hall. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor. If you disagree with your assessor, you may appear before the Board to discuss the matter.

Allan Moon was sworn in on March 21, 2025, as the newest Barry Township Supervisor, a three year term. Welcome, Al, we are looking forward to working with you!

Keith Kappauf Retirement

Keith Kappauf retired as Supervisor after 15 years on the Board. We thank you, Keith, for all your years of excellent service! Keith will remain an employee of Barry Township as he is our grader driver.

The planning committee is working on the new comprehensive plan for Barry Township.

The committee is seeking public input.

Contact one of the committee members or attend one the planning committee meetings at the Barry Town Hall.
